Lueella Shelton is a historian, researcher, and educator whose work explores overlooked narratives in American history and the enduring intersections of faith, education, and social change.
Her writing blends rigorous research with a passion for uncovering stories that have shaped communities from the ground up. Shelton’s debut book, Women in the Shadows: Faith, Resistance, and the Women Who Waged Quiet Revolution, began as a college research paper and evolved into a compelling historical account rooted in hidden networks of resistance and the power of ordinary people to create extraordinary change.
She is also the founder of Shelton Legacy Press, LLC, where she partners with authors through a six-step publication process to help bring their stories to life.
